At the same time, Prof. she provides all those T-DNA seeds for other researchers to carry out the study functional gene systems. This study, this rice functional genomics information system provides both the searching and management for the study of rice functional genomics. which extends what Prof. Yu is doing, This research ponies an information system content, the characteristics and shape, and the relevant flanking sequence in the database. Therefore, the database provides some of the information mentioned above for the researcher to have quick searching and references. The functions of this Rice Functional Genomics Information System are: (1). Member registration function; (2). Searching/query function; (3). Storage function and (4). intellectual right management. The reasons for these functions are that it is necessary to increase the efficiency of using these valuable rice genetic resources. At the same time, the database can control the place and storage of the inventory., Recording the basic information in the storage process as well as all the information of material transfer are also considered in this study. For those researchers who are interested in this field, they can use this system searching for the relevant information of the seeds. they are interesting The researchers can use the T-DNA rice ID for searching. In addition, they can use the characteristic and morphology of T-DNA rice seed for their searching (the length, width, height and weight of seed) and query for the seeds on line. The TTRSC database currently sofas the characteristics for more than 7844 lines of rice T-DNA seeds. Those researchers who are interested in the functional gene of rice can quickly search for the information of T-DNA by this database. Additionally, it is exceptionally convenient in finding the materials for research, which is helpful in accelerating the research on rice functional genomics.
