Description
Summary:博士 === 雲林科技大學 === 工程科技研究所博士班 === 96 === This research develops a cash flow-based scheduling optimization model for construction projects using constraint programming (CP), and provides contractors to perform financial inspection. Due to different characteristics of scheduling problems, the model formulation is divided into two parts: (1) model formulation to resource-constrained project scheduling problem (RCPSP); (2) model formulation to linear scheduling problem. The former describes the model formulation to handle project scheduling problems, which are in a resource-constrained environment and called RCPSP. The later considers issues of work continuity and interruption time of linear construction project for scheduling optimization. Moreover, in order to assess the financial health of a construction project, cash flow and related considerations, such as interest rate, payment condition and credit limit, are engaged into the both formulation Due to the flexibility of CP, several scenarios with various requirements are conducted and discussed for practice purposes, and are modified without rebuilding the model formulation. Consequently, this study provides contractors a scheduling optimization model, which combines cash flow, to assist contractors in arranging activities complying with the nature of construction projects, and moreover financial elements are integrated to benefit the evaluation of project financing and performance.
