An important issue in workflow management system is to optimize the total operation efficiency by minimizing the overall cost. The goal of this paper is to find a minimal cost workflow from the set of all possible routings. We propose a model called Work Flow Nets with Cost (WFNC) that adds cost parameters to the corresponding Workflow nets. By using WFNC model, our proposed method finds the lowest cost workflow from WFNC. The lowest cost workflow provides manufacturers with minimum cost routing to produce products.
