Summary:碩士 === 玄奘大學 === 國際企業學系碩士班 === 97 === Abstract Manufacturing zinc-plated iron tower used in transmitting electricity is different from other manufacturing industry. It needs to produce various kinds of products in small quantity, and high quality and prompt delivery is always required. Therefore, a severe management and working standard of the processes from order confirming, product design, manufacturing and product examining are vital for this industry. This research consults ISO 9001: 2000, the quality management standard, intending to verify its effectiveness in improving customer satisfaction and lowering failure cost. This research also applies Toyota's production model and the constraint management theory to the case company to develop a new production model, in order to improve the productivity of unit manpower, reduce delivery delay, and most importantly, enlarge the case company’s capacity to meet the customers’ urgent demands. After practical analysis, this research proved Toyota’s production model and the constraint management theory effective in not only improving product quality but also creating differentiated competitive edge, and in the long run, achieving the corporate goal of “surviving by means of technology, and thriving by means of management.” Key word: The administrative system of quality, Toyota type production system, produce precisely in fact, limits the theory
