Summary: | 碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 人力資源管理研究所 === 97 === The current study introduced leader-follower achievement goals congruence as an antecedent of transformational leadership to investigate the relationship among leader-follower achievement goals congruence, transformational leadership, organizational citizenship behavior, and task routineness. Using data from 303 supervisor-subordinate dyads collected in Taiwan, we found that leader-follower mastery goals congruence and follower’s perception of transformational leadership and employee organizational citizenship behavior are positively related. But leader-follower performance goals congruence is negatively related to employee organizational citizenship behavior yet remains non-significant to transformational leadership. Moreover, transformational leadership fully mediates the relationship of leader-follower mastery goals congruence with organizational citizenship behavior. The results also demonstrate that the positive relationship between leader-follower mastery goals congruence is stronger when task routineness is at high level than it is at low level. However, task routineness would not influence the relationship between leader-follower performance goals congruence and employee organizational citizenship behavior.
