Summary:碩士 === 高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 97 === The principal purpose of the study is to understand the current status of parental involvement in school curriculum implementation for Kaohsiung county elementary schools. Current status of parental participation, parental identification, difficulties involved, and effects of background variables are included for the involvement of curriculum implementation in this study. Research methods of this study include literature review, focus group discussion and questionnaire survey. By utilizing the self-made questionnaire entitled with “The current status of parental involvement in school curriculum implementation for elementary schools” as the principal research instrument.540 questionnaires were mailed to the parents of Kaohsiung county elementary schools, and 491 valid questionnaires(90.93%)have been received for this study. The data have been analyzed and interpreted by descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA. Some important results are summarized as follows: 1.The current status of parental involvement in school curriculum implementation includes: (1) The levels of parental involvement in school curriculum implementation are close to medium involvement. (2)The involvement of the parents of the 3rd and 4th grade is higher than that of the parents of the 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th grade. 2.The identification of parental involvement in school curriculum implementation for the elementary schools of Kaohsiung county includes: (1) The identification of parental involvement is highly affirmed. (2) The identification of the mothers is significantly higher than that of the fathers. (3)The identification degree of the parents of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade is higher than that of the parents of the 5th and 6th grade. 3.The difficulties of the parental involvement in school curriculum implementation for the elementary schools of Kaohsiung county includes: (1)The difficulties of the parental involvement are ranked medium level. (2)In this part, the group of Fathers indicated more difficulties than the group of Mothers.
