Oil Painting and Oil Pastel Painting Creation and Work
Analysis of Fen-Ling Chen
Abstract
1.Creative motive
Since the tribal subject is argued intensely in the society in recent years, the tribal emotion appears to be disunited. People usually treat the mainlanders by political consideration. This social phenomenon arouses scholar’s introspect. The author is a native Hakka. I am a teacher in an elementary school nearby a military dependent village, and frequently contacts with the village people. Therefore, I try to understand the lasting wandering mentality of these mainlanders by a point of view of cultural consideration. Their present residence condition and coming generations are also considered after they came to Taiwan. These stories are then used as the source of the topic of art creation.
By the study of literatures and field investigation, as well as the comparison of art works and motion pictures, the carbon pen, oil pastel painting and oil painting are used to performed the creative study.
2.Creative idea
The idea creation stems from the anticipation of social harmony and bases on subjective embodiment to perform the creation.
3.Theoretical background
The picture space presented is based on perspective science (sky clairvoyance, air clairvoyance, parallel clairvoyance) and montage to compose the pictures. The color presented is based on as chromatics theory.
4.Work Content style
From a cultural point of view, the work content style is to present the views of humanity and culture, which are described as follow: ��

5.Future creation development
The creation will be still discovered in the direction of humanity and cultural landscape in the future. The author may pursuit my own Hakka culture or continue the study in portrait art area. For the creation media, the creation presently is performed by the way of single media. Hopefully, the multiple medium will performed in the future.
