Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 教管所學校經營與管理教學碩士班 === 97 === The purpose of this research is to, firstly, find out the school vision’s cognition of the teachers in Tainan County’s junior high schools. Secondly, the researcher compare the difference in the satisfaction between teachers of different backgrounds (variable) in Tainan County’s junior high schools. Finally, based on the result, of the research, the researcher will make substantial proposals as the foundations for upgrading the school vision cognition of the teachers. In this search, we picked the teachers from 20 junior high schools in Tainan County as our subjects and used the self-compiled questionnaire, which subject as same as topic above, as the tool. We sent out a total of 801 copies of questionnaire and got 761 copies back. The return rate is as high as 95%. The usable questionnaires were reached to 757 copies, and the availability rate was as high as 99.5%. With the data at hand, the researcher used the SPSS Version 10.0 statistical package to collect descriptive statistics, conduct the t-test, and make one-way analysis of variance. Based on the result of our data analysis, we reached the following conclusions: 1. The degree toward the whole school vision cognition from the Tainan County’s junior high school teachers is currently at the range of ‘upper- middle.’ 2. All aspects in the every steps of the vision cognition for the teachers from Tainan County’s junior high school teachers are approach-ed to the level of ‘upper middle.’ However, the cognition in ‘vision building stage’ is higher than others and which in ‘assessment stage’ is extremely lowest. 3. Tainan County’s junior high school teachers gave higher ratings to school vision in following facts of the cognition: the whole efficacy of school education, upgrading the learning achievement of students, designing the development of school-based curriculumand layout the teaching instruction, describing the school vision by text and images, clear and simple statement for school vision. 4. Tainan County’s junior high school teachers gave lower ratings to school vision in following items of the cognition: using the assessment group which is organized by some related high-tech professionals to evaluate, the school using multiple assessment by internal and external way to evaluation, the school display and present the result of assessment for school vision by public way, in the meeting, made substational proposals for the implementation of school vision, according the result of evaluation to review and modified. 5. Regardless of their gender, service seniority, or educational background, the teachers of Tainan County’s junior high schools show more or less the same level of school vision’s cognition. 6. Regarding their level of school vision’s cognition, teachers who also partly participate in administrative work show higher cognition of school vision. 7. Teachers who serve in small-scaled schools, which less than the number of 10~32 classrooms for each grade, generally have higher opinion of their school administration than those who work in larger scaled school.
