Summary:碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 美術產業碩士學位在職進修專班 === 97 === This research intended to explore the process of creating pattern arts that were formed of plants dyed lines and to represent the image art of Amis’ myths. This study was divided into two parts: the literature reviews and the creation course. Qualitative research methods that included literature, observation, informal interview and creation action, were applied to collect pertinent information. The results of research were found as following: Firstly, the color and luster of plants dyed would generate high variability due to the change of time and environment. Secondly, the research enlightened the thoughts of the contemporary Taiwan aboriginal arts self-creation that were different from with the styles of knitting of the traditional east-west arts. Thirdly,the meaning of heavenly bodies, the sea, the plants and the circular could not be replaced in the culture and image art of the Amis’ life. Lastly,integrating the image art of the Amis’ myths to the works of plane surface and the three-dimensional objects could be a way of carrying out the life aesthetics in the daily life.
