| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 創新設計研究所 === 97 === Due to day to day requirement of clothes, furniture designs have been brought to a new generation. Furniture not only pursue for its functionalities as well as the combination of decorative and personality. Since the establishment of human culture, furniture designs have been mainly emphasize on costume design, human exposure, physiological changes, and visual preferences. In additional to that, cross-design of furniture have become a trend and most pronounced in the field of garment. With this new interpretation, furniture has different concepts transmission and vitality.
The main purpose of this study is to explore the clothing design used in furniture. (1) Compare and contract the literatures based on the designing development of furniture and clothes. (2) Collection of relevant information on clothing-furniture design concept, and proceed with inductive analysis on the characteristics and connotations. (3) Present the integration of fashion and clothes design performance. （4）Based on experimental and creativity perspective to seek for possible expansion of furniture, and provide designers the information as reference. Moreover, present the clothing design concept on furniture in order to create value innovation.
