To research if the background varieties of elementary school teachers, self-concept, and emotion management can predict well-being in final. The research’s object is 10,372 elementary school teachers in Taichung city and Taichung county. Applying to the implement--“Self-concept Scale, Emotional Management Scale and Well-being Scale” made by the researcher in order to collect more information. The data were analyzed by the statistic methods as descriptive statistics, T-test, One-way ANOVA, Confirmatory Multidimensional Factor (CMFA) and Multiple Stepwise Regressions. The main findings are as following: 1. The level of self-concept, emotion management and well-being of the elementary school teachers is upper intermediate. 2. The elementary school teachers of different background varieties make differences among different levels of self-concept, emotion management and well-being. 3. The elementary school teachers’ self-concept is related to well-being. 4. The elementary school teachers’ emotion management is related to well-being. 5. The elementary school teachers’ “emotion management”, “self-concept”, “marriage situation” and “age” can predict well-being. According to the result of the study, the researcher wants to provide some suggestions to school administrators, teachers and further studies improving the education environment.
