We extended Ehrlich and Lui(1998)overlapping-generations model to account for elderly caring and the experiences of raising and teaching children from elder parents. In our model, we show that population aging raises the rate of fertility and saving, but lowers parental teaching time and growth rate if parents think their pensions endogenously. Further, we show that a higher PAYG social security tax rate increases parental teaching time and growth rate but lowers the rate of fertility and saving if their pensions are endogenous. We also do some empirical study to test the predictions of our model. Yang, Hsiu-Ling 楊琇玲 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 57 zh-TW
