Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 海洋環境資訊學系 === 98 === Abstract The purpose of this study is to understand the current marine education implementation of elementary schools in Keelung through questionnaires. The results show that 83.33% schools in Keelung have their own teaching materials. Meanwhile, the curriculum content includes 38.42% on “marine culture”, 31.71% on “marine resource”, 15.39% on “marine recreation”, 10.92% on “marine science”, and 3.55% on “marine society”. Totally, most of them focus on “marine arts”, “biological resource” and “environmental protection and ecological care”, but less on “marine laws”, “marine meteorology” and “non-biological resource”. According to this, this study suggests nine sorts of teaching activities and resources for the reference and application for the implementation of the elementary schools in Keelung. Some further suggestions are: 1). Teachers should pay more attention to the teaching on marine education, 2). In response to the formal implementation of marine education from 2011, the publishers should add the contents of marine education in textbooks, 3) Teachers should have enough knowledge for their teaching in marine education, 4). Governor should set up a series of studying-abroad courses to attract teachers to arrange field-trip teaching, and 5) Encouraging teachers to make their own teaching materials and establish the e-learning platform of marine education.
