Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 98 === This thesis focuses on the light source issues and visual reaction when LEDs are used in the road lighting. According to the related design standards of various countries, road classification, and IES lighting standard, a set of different lighting quality indexes and evaluation algorithm based on different weighting are constructed to evaluate the quality of road lighting. The selected roads for simulations are analyzed to quantitatively calculation according to the road lighting indexes. Then the total lighting quality is evaluated by proper weighting and summation. The research studies the optimal mounting height for installing LED luminaries based on both the cost consideration and the lighting quality concerns. The result could also be a reference for the road lighting design.
