The study took 34 students from the sixth grade classes of Taipei Municipal Fuxing Elementary School of Wanhua District as the objective of study in the proceeding of twelve times of volley ball underarm serve technique teaching in a period of six weeks. Ball service tests and cognition tests were conducted at before and after the experiment and one week after the experiment. The study conducted analysis and discussion according to the purpose and results of the study to obtain the following conclusions: 1.The mixed training group and the physical practice group all had significant improvement in the effectiveness of learning volley ball underarm serve technique. 2.In terms of volley ball underarm serve technique learning retention effectiveness, the imaginary training group, mixed training group, physical practice group and the control group all had good retention effectiveness. 2.During volley ball underarm serve teaching, the imagery training group and mixed training group had better cognitive effectiveness than the control group.
