碩士 === 義守大學 === 管理學院管理碩士在職專班 === 99 === Smoking is recognized as one of the primal risk factors that affect human health. In adolescents, smoking may lead to hypo plastic development of the lungs. Therefore, this study aims to investigate smoking prevalence and discuss the related factors for the influence on adolescent students. As a teacher, the study was mainly based on the questionnaire survey and stratified random sampling method of the students from Voctional Senior High School in Kaoshung City. After collecting 309 available samples and adopting statistic analysis, the results were presented as follows: 1. There were 74 students(24％) smoking everyday, 96 students(31％) smoking sometime. And 139 students(45％) do not smoking. 2. The students with male genders, age more than 18 years and academic achievements among last 1/3 had behavior of smoking. 3. The more positive anti-smoking attitudes, the more difficulty to from smoking behaviors. The students with stronger “self-efficacy of anti-smoking” are less likely to smoke. 4. The more convenience to get tobacco, the easier to have smoking behavior. 36% of students always had tobacco (cigarette) from their house and friends directly, while 20% of students had not been inquired of their ages by the seller when they buy the tobacco from the convenience store. 5. Whether parents and their friends smoke poses a significant correlation with smoking behaviors. But whether friends smoke or not had a significant correlation with the objects’ smoking behaviors. 6. The smoking behaviors could be elaborated by “age”, “non-smoking campus”“self-efficacy of anti-smoking” and “the convenience of getting the tobacco”. Its variation was 33.4％ . “Self-efficacy of anti-smoking” was the key factor and had shown most significant influence among them, and its variation was up to 27.6％.
