He considered that “ Yi Jing ” is the book of the divination. For this reason, Zhu Xi explored the original meaning of “ Zhou Yi ”. The thesis focuses on the conception of Zhu Xi’s “Yi Xiang and Yi Shu”. There are six chapters in the thesis. Chapter 1 : Exordium. The first section, including the motive and purpose of the research. The second section, including the scope and method of the research. Chapter 2 : The implication of “Zhou Yi”. This chapter illustrated the property of “ Zhou Yi ”. Chapter 3 : The first section described the development from the Book of Changes of the theory in the Sung Dynasty. The second section discussed the conception of Zhu Xi’s theory in “ Zhou Yi ”. Chapter 4 : This chapter disscussed the ancient divination symbol charts. Chapter 5 : This chapter analysed the conception of Zhu Xi’s “Yi Xiang and Yi Shu”. Most of all, the second section discussed the system of divination. Chapter 6 : Conclusion.
