Summary:碩士 === 南華大學 === 文學系碩士班 === 99 ===   This study mainly explores Chang Lee Te-Ho’s life experience, background and her poetics achievement. Chang Lee Te-Ho, a female classical poet during Japanese colonial period, was born in Xi-Lo and married to Chia-Yi. She was not restricted by the saying “a woman is virtuous only if she is talentless”. She came from a distinguished family and was taught to be good at one or more skill even if being a female. She had learned a zither-like plucked instrument, chess, poetics, and art since her childhood. Although these were for molding her temperament, practicing moral, and growing the soul, they also founded her achievement in many aspects. She was brilliant in poetics, literati, and art.     She not only did the duty of a wife and mother very well but also organized a poet club, published poetry, participated in founding an art club, and was active in the political world. She was one of the few people who made themselves conspicuous in poetic world. Her life experience was enough to present the literary world of the time in Taiwan. She was a representative Chinese female poet and had Lin-lan Shan-ko Poem Collection, Lin-lan Shan-ko Art Enclosed Preserve, Lo-shan Ti-jin Collection, and Shi Ci Collection to be handed down for generations.     There are five chapters in the study. Chapter 1 is the introduction which illustrates the motive and purpose, range of study and method, original version, and former study results. Chapter 2 describes the time background and life experience of Chang Lee Te-Ho, her education, and the literary common practice of the time. Chapter 3 analyzes the content of Chang Lee Te-Ho’s Chinese classical poetry. Her poems are analyzed with the form and content. Her thoughts about life, mental representation, and aesthetic perception expression are discussed. Chapter 4 explores the artistic characteristics of Chang Lee Te-Ho’s Chinese classical poetry. Chapter 5 is the conclusion which concludes the study viewpoints in the former chapters.
