Both techniques have been applied to de-termine position in a large scale, such as GPS car navigation system, lo-cating stolen cars, and find the location when lost. The aim of the present study is to investigate how to apply fast and low-cost to method and the algorithm for positioning. Especially, the cur-rent study applied fuzzy theory and back-propagation neural network to e ZigBee short distanc positioning system. The main purpose of this study is to explore how to develop an effi-cient positioning system from various way and prospective. Based on the ZigBee system, signal intensity was actually measured and a database is established. Then, the fuzzy theory and back-propagation neural network were applied respectively to compare both positioning method.
