Digit fabrication technologies were used to two common patterns, the folding and ribs shapes, for possible application and construction problems. A fast constructible shape and related parametric design method were developed after the experiments and the modifications of a series of cases. The study shows a traditional standard component system can be improved for new construction forms, by applying parametric program to components and joints. A special working pattern was developed from design to construction process to integrate the structure, construction, digital design, and digital fabrication. The working records, construction experiences, and problem-solving methods can be used as a reference for the future studies of different materials. Naai-Jung Shih 施乃中 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 217 zh-TW
