Summary:碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 應用化學研究所 === 99 === Blumea hieracifolia (Compositae) distributed in the whole territory of Taiwan, is a folk for the treatment of lung disease, kidney disease, gastroenteritis, diarrhea, etc. In order to study the chemical constituents of this plant, extraction and isolation were proceeded. The EtOH extract of the whole herbs was treated with CH2Cl2-Me2CO (1:1) and then MeOH. Two soluble portions were separated and purified by a combination of several chromatographic techniques, which led to the isolation of fourteen compounds including one new compound. blumealactone (1) salcolin A (tricin-4'-O-(erythro-β-guaiacylglyceryl ether)) (2)、 luteolin-7-O-β-D-glucoside (3)、luteolin (4)、tricin (5)、 quercitin (6)、1,3,5-tri-O-caffeoylquinic acid (7)、3,5-di-O-caffeoylquinic acidmethy ester (8)、3,5-di-O-caffeoylquinic acid (9)、4,5-di-O-caffeoylquinic acid (10)、3,4,5-tri-O-caffeoylquinic acid (11)、2N-[2'-hydroxy-tetraconsanoyl]-8(E)-octadecene-1,3,4-triol (12)、2N[1-O-(β-D-glucopyanosyl)-2'-hydroxy-tetracosanoyl]-8(Z)-octadecene-1,3,4-triol (13)、friedelin (14). The structures of these compounds were elucidated using spectroscopic methods.
