The results found that: The "Ocean Schools" transform or integrate the original curriculum through analysis of school background. It was helpful to the studies of marine education curriculum. At the same time, they plan their ocean-based curriculum with their school environment and conditions and build a vision and specific capacity indicators. Those schools arrange various continuing studies which can effectively enhance teachers' professional knowledge, and those multiple curriculum design is helpful to enhance students' learning motivation. The implementation of the curriculum puts emphasis on extracurricular activities and provides sufficient teaching resources. As for the curriculum evaluation, teachers use multiple methods to evaluate students’ learning and as a self-improvement for their teaching. This study proposes the following recommendations for school administrators according to the interviews: School administrators should lead teachers to analyze school geography, develop their own characteristic curriculum, organize their Curriculum Development Committee, arrange multiple teachers' training, enhance teachers’ ability to design courses, establish inter-school league for exchanging curriculum and support teachers’ need for teaching resources. They also have to establish curriculum evaluation mechanism, view and revise the course content at any time. Finally school administrators should communicate with teachers and community timely. Let teachers, communities and parents can accept marine education curriculum. School teachers should take the initiative to improve basic knowledge and ability of marine education and the capacity of developing marine education programs. When they implement their curriculum, they should design a lot of experience activities, use their teaching resources properly, develop multiple teaching assessment, self-review and revise at any time. The experiences in the "Ocean Schools" in New Taipei City provide a reference blueprint. Even if the majority of non-coastal schools have different background, but the curriculum development process is the same. As long as the executive officers lead the teachers to know more about the features of the schools, identify the advantages of the schools, design educational programs based on their local conditions, or through inter-school courses alliances, marine education will be able to smoothly implement. 鐘珮瑄 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 102 zh-TW
