Summary:碩士 === 正修科技大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 100 === Reactive power compensator can be used to reduce voltage flicker of power systems for providing good power quality, which can reduce the damage of electrical equipment and maintain constant output of light sources. Therefore, voltage flicker forecasting and reactive power compensation are important research topics in the electrical engineering. This thesis proposes one step secant method based back-propagation neural network to forecast the voltage flicker of power systems, and the proposed method was trained by collected data from DC arc furnace in a steel mill. Then, the voltage flicker can be further reduced by the reactive power compensation of power systems.
