A sample of eight seniors from the Baby Boomer generation (55 to 65 years old) was interviewed for the research. (Out of which six were female and two were male. Half were English-speaking and half was Mandarin-speaking.) In view of the ageing population, the research aimed to understand: the past activities, understanding, motivations, and impacts of lifelong learning, among Baby Boomers. The results showed that the Baby Boomers understood lifelong learning as non-stop learning that transcended one’s age and was part of everyday life. Changing life roles, employment, personal and family needs, and things applicable in daily life, motivated seniors to learn. Lastly, learning also impacted Baby Boomers on all dimensions of the Wellness Model (intellectual, social, emotional, physical, spiritual, occupational).
