Summary:碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 休閒產業經營學系碩士班 === 100 === The purpose of this research was to examine the relationships among work stress, participations of leisure and working satisfaction of firemen from Taoyuan County. Using questionnaire composed of reliability and validity tested measurement through a self-administered way of survey of 390 firemen sampled from fire bureau at Taoyuan County, the 314 valid questionnaires were statistically analyzed and provided the results to answer the research questions. Through descriptive, correlation and regression analyses, the study found: 1.Negative correlation between Job Stress and Job Satisfaction is found. 2.Negative partial correlation existed between Leisure Acttivities Participation and Job Stress. 3.Firemen’s Leisure Acttivities Participation and Job Satisfactions has a positive correlation. 4.Job Stress and Leisure Acttivities Participation are effective predictors of their Job Satisfactions. This firemen survey showed that high job stress will depress job satisfactions, and the job satisfactions can be raisen lowering job stress and leisure participation. Therefore, some suggestions from this research are valued and listed below. 1.Management of fire department needs to: a.Know the job stress will have an influence on firemen’s job satisfaction, enhance performance. b.Job Stress should be released through appropriate methods in appropriate time. c.Job Satisfactions need to be directed through effective management. 2.Firemen need to: a.Know how to control Job Stress when it is coming. b.Look for supporting system to maintain balance of Job Stress. c.Adopting leisure activities to reduce Job Stress and improve physial/psychological health conditions.
