The researcher collected the data for the process of constructing the portfolio via approaches including interviews and document analysis, in order to carry out the arrangement, induction, and analysis of the data. Integrating the data from this research, the following conclusion has been reached: I.Children’s portfolio reveals the individual characteristics of the children, may be used to understand children’s learning condition, document the children’s life, and also features the function and meaning of evaluation, as well as to further observe children’s learning, growth and improvement. II.Through the approach of portfolio construction and the adjustment of strategy, it may effectively improve the imperfections and hassles of constructing a children’s portfolio. III.In order to construct an effective children’s portfolio, the portfolio data should be collected and constructed systematically and meaningfully in accordance with the established core goal, and further integrate and induce the data systematically, which is then presented factually after concluding the children’s development conditions. IV.The researcher induced 12 steps for the process of constructing a children’s portfolio, so as to effectively construct a children’s portfolio. V.The researcher conquered obstacles and applied skills and strategies to construct a children’s portfolio that is suitable for this kindergarten, parents, and teachers. Lastly, this research proposed specific suggestions for the reference by kindergarten teachers in conducting the portfolio construction and the follow-up researches.
