The subjects are highly-concerned students who are recommended by high school teachers. Refer to MHSA-SA (Mental Health Scale for Adolescent- Screening Assessment) as an examining tool and adopt one-group pretest-posttest design as a quantitative experiment method. Researcher analyze the counseling efficiency of highly-concerned teenagers’ mental health according to the quantitative data、 interview and observation record of group members, associate leader and the mentors. Dividing MHSA-SA into the overall scale and six subscales: validity indicators, melancholic inclination, anxious inclination, self-inflicted injury inclination, impetuous behavior and mental distress. Analyzing the pretest-posttest data by ten times, each time 115 minutes drama therapy counseling processes, quantitative data shows adopting drama therapy into group activities can promote teenagers’ mental health including overall scale, melancholic inclination, anxious inclination, self-inflicted injury inclination, impetuous behavior. But no effectiveness on Mental distress. Qualitative data shows the “positive experience” and “demonstration of the leader” both affect personal mental health change factor of the highly-concerned students. The members improve the capability of expressing thoughts and emotions after participate drama therapy groups, this method can perform the assisting in student counseling. Finally, researcher recommend the suggestion for related person who will take part in drama therapy counseling activities based on the research process、 results and findings.
