Description
Summary:碩士 === 亞洲大學 === 資訊傳播學系碩士班 === 100 === Disaster prevention education is a basic and important course in levels of education. Most of disaster prevention education teaching materials were compiled in "one-way" and "preach" approach. This could not cause the learners’ learning motivation. Adventure games require observations and correct decisions to reach the goal, and thus can be used for disaster prevention teaching with far less costs than doing real exercises and learners are immersed in the simulated environment. However, making games are big burdens for teachers because of the complex cause-and-effect relations in adventure games. Another issue is that teachers want to do formative assessment in the game since learners’ behaviors in the game give teachers an insight into learners’ cognitions. In this thesis propose a Context Awareness and Augmented Reality Adventure Game-Based Formative Assessment Framework to help teachers construct assessable adventure games. The Augmented Reality approach has the advantage of more fun and immersion. The game process is different from the previous stand-alone adventure game. The students should complete the game tasks between the real scenes to improve realism, motivate learning, and challenge students. Another issue is that teachers want to do assessment in the game since learners’ behaviors in the game give teachers an insight into learners’ cognitions.
