Description
Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 企業管理學系碩士班 === 101 === DongGang sakura shrimp is one of important fisheries in southwest coast. DongGong sakura shrimp, blue fin tuna and mullet roe are called Three Treasures of DongGong . It brings two hundred million income. The self-management organization has been established since 1993 by DongGong sakura shrimp fishermen, then implement total allowable catch, individual vessel quota and forbidden period as management method. The paper examines the relationship between price-quantity under fishery management system in Taiwan DongGong sakura shrimp.VAR model is estimated by using daily price and quantity data form Dec 2000 to May 2012, to find out the interactive relations between price and quantity. The empirical results find : The conclusion of Granger Causality testing, the quantity shows a significant leading position among all the price, but quantity and price don’t have feedback relationship. It implies that fishermen catch sakura shrimp by past experience under limitation imposed, not exist completely economical motives. It could also be found in the variance decomposition, quantity would be affected by itself and not by other price. In other words, quantity was the leading indicator of price. The conclusion of Impulse Response Function, when quantity increases unexpectedly form exogenous shock, the high-price duration was longer.
