Furthermore, with the increases of manufacturing and labor cost, the companies make lower profits. In order to adapt to the rapid change, major income of companies will come from higher demand and lower cost. The greatest challenge currently is how to meet the customer request, maintain the steady benefit, and at the same time, decrease the cost of producing. This study will focus on how to apply RFID technology to effectively control the material storage to reduce cost. This would help to ensure the material prepared timely, storage maintained at right level, and production line non-stop; in this way, cost related to material or storage shortage are reduced, besides, the labor cost would be diminished accordingly too.
