Sunscreens can be divided into two kind according to their role in principle:Inorganic suncreen(physical sunscreen) and organic sunscreen (chemical sunscreen). The major role of inorganic sunscreen is blocking the wavelength of ultraviolet A (UVA), it makes light reflection to shield the skin in order to achieve the function of sun-proof;Use organic sunscreen can absorb a specific wavelength range of the ultraviolet B (UVB ). The primary role of the organic sunscreen in the absorption wavelength of the ultraviolet B (UVB) is applied on the skin surface to get sun-proof and protective effects. Octyl Methoxycinnamate (OMC), Butyl methoxydibenzoyImethane (avobenzone) 、Tinosorb M (methylene bis-the benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol) 、 P25 TiO2 nano particles and chitosan were glued together to improve their ability of sun-proof. Detect titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles and chitosan coated Octyl methoxycinnamate (OMC) or Butyl methoxydibenzoyImethane (Avobenzone) or Tinosorb M (methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol) upon titanium dioxide (TiO2) nano particles with FTIR, TGA, SEM and SPF instruments. The FTIR experimental results demonstrate that the absorption peak wavelength of chitosan primary amine shown in 3356.37cm-1 and 3242.65 cm-1, and while adding a chemical sunscreen, absorption peaks were shifted respectively to 3361.03 cm-1 and 3291.67cm-1 (with TiO2), the results prove that the chitosan really coated with a chemical sunscreen agent upon the titanium dioxide particles. Coated finished products were blended to form sunscreen scream and experienced SPF test, It was found that the SPF value can reach 41.74 while adding Chitosan / OMC / TiO2 and Chitosan / Avobenzone / ZnO at 1:2 weight ratio. These capsules successfully prepared from chitosan-coated TiO2 with chemical sunscreen ( OMC, avobenzone, Tinosorb M ), meanwhile they had physical and chemical sun-proof properties, and achieved better anti-UV characterist.
