This study explored the different perceptions based on different individual backgrounds and examined the predictability of principal’s spiritual leadership to teachers’ job involvement. In this study, teachers in public elementary schools in New Taipei City were slected as subjects, and the questionnaire, "New Taipei City Elementary School Principal’s Spiritual Leadership and Teachers’ Job Involvement Questionnaire" was employed in the research. A total of 588 questionnaires were sent, the actual recovery of 498 were valid. Data were collected from both questionnaires and were analyzed by frequencies, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson’s production-moment correlation and mutiple regression analysis. This study concluded that: 1. Teachers’ preception about the principal’s spiritual leadership in elementary schools tended to be positive and was at a high level. 2. There were no significant differences in terms of teacher’s gender in the perception of principal’s spiritual leadership. 3. There were significant differences in terms of teacher’s teaching tenure, position and school scale in the perception of principal’s spiritual leadership. 4. There were no significant differences in terms of principal’s gender in teachers’ perception of principal’s spiritual leadership. 5. There were significant differences in terms of principal’s teaching tenure in teachers’ perception of principal’s spiritual leadership. 6. Currently, the job involvement of teachers in New Taipei Cityt tended to be positive and was at a high level. 7. There were no significant differences in terms of teachers’ gender and school scale in the level of job involvement. 8. There were significant differences in terms of teachers’ teaching tenure and position in job involvement. 9. There was moderate positive correlation between the principal’s spiritual leadership and teahchers’ job involvment in New Taipei City. 10. The principal’s spiritual leadership predicts teachers’ job involvement of elementary schools in New Taipei City. Based on the study results, suggestions were proposed for educational institutes, school principals, teachers, and further researches, respectively.
