Summary: | 碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 教育研究所 === 101 === This study aims to explore (1) the stress and coping strategies of junior high school students in the physical education programs in Changhua county, (2) the stress and coping strategies of junior high school students in the
physical education programs in Changhua county under different backgrounds, and (3) the relationship between the stress and coping strategies of junior high school students in the physical education programs in Changhua county. The
study issued questionnaires to the subjects selected tratified cluster sampling. The research tool is the “Stressors and Coping Strategies of Junior High School
Students in The Physical Education Programs in Changhua County Questionnaire”. The students from seventh grade to ninth grade in the physical education programs in Changhua County are subjects. A total of 589 questionnaires sent, 563 valid questionnaires were received, and got the rate of
95.59%.
Researcher analysis the data of the valid questionnaires by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and regression analysis. The findings of this study are listed below:
1. The strongest stress of junior high school students in the physical education programs in Changhua County was “sports trainings and competitions stress”, while the weakest stress was “personal physiological and psychological development stress”; the mostly used coping strategy was “emotional adjustment”, while the least used one was “emotional venting”.
2. The stress of junior high school students in the physical education programs in Changhua County under different gender, grade, major sport, competition level, and experience of elementary school physical education
programs had significantly different.
3. The using frequency of coping strategies of junior high school students in the physical education programs in Changhua County under different gender, grade, sport skill self-evaluation, experience of elementary school physical
education programs had significantly different.
4. The relationships between each stress and each coping strategies of junior high school students in the physical education programs in Changhua County were most positive and significantly, and among the relationships,
which between “personal physiological and psychological development stress” and “emotional venting” was the strongest.
5. Each stress of junior high school students in the physical education programs in Changhua County could partially predict each coping strategies.
