Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 教育學系(所) === 101 === The purpose of this study is to inquire the opinion of administrators and teachers about importing interactive whiteboards to elementary schools, and to understand the current condition and difficulties of teachers’ using interactive whiteboards with field study approach in two rural elementary schools. According to the results, the school administrators have ever applied for funding to purchase interactive whiteboards by writing plans, and designed some supporting measures for it, though limited by insufficient human and time resources. Nowadays, teachers can’t feel that school administrators do anything to promote them to use interactive whiteboards well, but provided some suggestions to improve the measures designed by administrators. In addition, new entrant teachers expect school administrators to concern their teaching needs. The current condition of teachers’ using interactive whiteboards is influenced by where the equipments are and the digital materials provided by textbook publishers. Most of teachers use interactive whiteboards with digital materials in their classrooms. Textbook publishers have been developing digital materials for the use of interactive whiteboards, so curriculum design turns into searching for supplementary materials. Finally, the difficulties which teachers are facing when using interactive whiteboards may not suspend classroom teaching, but need to be paid close attention to by school administrators.
