In a journey of diet, the tableware takes up the role of tour guide to lead us into the buds-awakening planet for a scenario experience. Motivated by the tea culture in Taiwan, this study observed all possible messages that could occur during the process of tea tasting, and discovered the fun and memories resulted from the tea-tasting scenario of user experience through three stages including sensory stimulation, experience link, and scenario experience. First of all, it dealt with the consciousness, by thinking over what kind of sensory stimulation could be generated from the process of tea tasting and carrying out the study of tea culture and scenario experience. Next, it explored how to awake the five senses and experience of user via the tableware design based on the scenario experience approach by analyzing how user and scenario imagination contacted each other, and summed up three directions of thinking according to three relevant cases, which were (1) the model elements, (2) the content elements, and (3) the interactive elements, and further led to the creation process and key points of how the scenario experience design of five sense was established. Finally, it carried out four designs by applying to the research process, and used these designs to analyze how cultural emotions derived from the five senses converted into the concept of product design. This study will as well provide methods of observing the tea culture and design approaches comprised of the five senses and scenario experience, as well as evaluations and suggestions regarding the design method.
