Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 勞工關係學系暨研究所 === 102 === The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of the Job Characteristics and Work-Family Balance on Employee Engagement by gender difference. Specifically, this study aims to examine the effect of the dimensions of Job Characteristics on Work-Family Balance between different gender. Furthermore, this study also examines the effect of the dimensions of Job Characteristics on Employee Engagement between different gender. Finally, this study reveals the relationship between Work-Family Balance and Employee Engagement in terms of gender. The total valid sample consisted of 285 questionnaires from the Industrial Human Resource Investment Program, through the instrumentality of descriptive statistical analysis, CFA, reliable analysis and SEM, the relationship among the constructs is examined. Research results are as follows: 1.Between gender, the dimensions of Job Characteristics have partial effects on Work-Family Balance. 2.Between gender, the dimensions of Job Characteristics have partial effects on Employee Engagement. 3.Work-Family balance has a positive effect on Employee Engagement in male employees. 4.Employee Engagement has a positive effect on Work-Family balance in female employees.
