Since her death, there are a considerable number of papers analysing her works, however, there is no study about connecting her amorousness and tragedy to examine her texts. In fact, on her diary the writer once wrote,“ about a woman’s ‘amorousness’……almost becomes the whole part and pain in my life……’amorousness’ is the key of all trouble.” Therefore, this study is used to comb through the full description of amorousness, besides, facing the amorous trouble, which resulted in the tragedy, was a life picture of Ciou Miao-Jin, so it would be a great loss if we don’t decipher the facet of amorousness connected with her tragedy. To sum up, this paper is going to refer to the amorousness and tragedy in Ciou Miao-Jin’s two long novels, "The Crocodile Note" and"Montmartre posthumous letter", and quote from other short stories and diary in the view of Hermeneutics. Finally, I hope this research can find a new point to study Ciou Miao-Jin’s works in academia. HUANG QING-SHUN 黃清順 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 108 zh-TW
