As for the teachers to be aware of student’s learning status, assessments are generally applied. Therefore it has become a focus of nowadays researches to improve the accuracy for the college educational assessments. For teaching methods, cognitive assessment should be conducted for each student, and to adjust the content of textbooks, to achieve the effect of individualized according to their results. Cognitive assessment is to enable students to clearly recognize the unfamiliar parts of the course for their own and to do a positive response. In this study, two classes of sophomore students in Hsinchu had taken the midterm and final exam questions for analysis, and the results of the analysis was given for feedback to students and teachers, using analytical methods of Rule Space Model (RSM), to analyze the quality of midterm and final exam questions. Identify knowledge quiz questions using the properties of each subject were analyzed questions of knowledge attributes, record the results of the students answer after analyzing the effectiveness of student learning and knowledge of property, under the effect of the two methods assisted each other, then the result feed backed to the teachers and the students. Through the methods of Rule Space Model, teachers can learn how to make appropriate amendments in teaching methods, change teaching strategies, modify curriculum designs, etc. Enable teachers to teach more effectively in order to achieve teaching objectives.
