The organisms are ubiquitous in fresh and brackish water. It is important pathogens associated with human disease. Recently, about Aeromonas species associate with highly pathogenic reports has been increased. Infections caused by Aeromonas species include gastroenteritis, bacteremia, endocarditis, peritonitis, pneumonia and cellulitis, especially in blood culture field. According to those reports, numbers of the Aeromonas species’s resistance to antibiotics cases raise gradually every year. Therefore, in retrospect the statistical to analysis Aeromonas species infection with antibiotics sensitivity in one of Regional Teaching Hospital in Taitung. Methods:This study investigated the clinical and microbiological aracteristics of patients with Aeromonas species infections by blood culture in Taitung in 2005/07/01 to 2012/12/31 years. Result: During the study period,109 isolates (50.7%) of Aeromonas species were obtained from 65 patients by blood culture. We divided 65 patients into two groups of chronic liver disease (43 patients) and other chronic disease (22 patients ). For statistical evaluations, A value of p<0.05 was considered to be statistically significant. Conclusion:Age、WBC、PT、GOT、GPT were not statistical significant but were significant for platelet, total-bilirubin, albumin(p<0.05). Tai-An Chiang 姜泰安 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 43 zh-TW
