Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 高階經理人碩士在職專班 === 102 === Direct selling business here in Taiwan has been rocketing high in the past twenty years, which amounted to NT$ thirty billion (1992) rapidly up to almost NT$ seventy billion (2013). This study found that a bunch of entrepreneurs such as the owners of drugstores, insurance sales, physicians and surgeons, sales top management, the owners of swine-raising, cab drivers and pianists are the dominant roles behind the DS (Direct Selling) miracles. However, these so-called self-employed entrepreneurs are becoming less productive on their target selling growth within decades of time passing, which describes their deteriorating motivation led to sales downfall. In this way, a better resolution to contribute to another sales peak of Direct selling business in this island should be keeping search for alternative “pearls” or “locomotives” of DS business among the existing target groups of self-employed entrepreneurs. Accordingly, the best answers to the problems of why self-employed entrepreneurs are reluctant to engage in Direct Selling business is likely to unlock the questions of persuading the potential targets to start. I believe that Taiwanese Direct Selling business will demonstrate another booming climax in the ongoing second twenty years as long as we are able to find out the core factors of new thrust in the younger generation. These research respondents are restrictedly limited to the self-employers without managing experience of Direct Selling business. The research is citing published references and respective analytic viewpoints about the business marketplace, which presents three deciding factors to influence the devotion of self-employers of Direct Selling business, as following: 1. the detrimental cognition about the Direct Selling business; 2.casting doubts on the recruiting staff or groups and 3.the incentives to provoke candidate’s determination. I adopted the questionnaire approach and was given 198 returning respondents out of 230 sheets with 86 % return rate. And here are contribution of research: 1. The research helps understand reasons of why self-employers are reluctant to engage in Direct Selling Business here in Taiwan. 2. The research provides DS companies constructive references to stipulate strategies of potential clients and new marketplaces. 3. The research presents sustainable measures to gear up elevating high-stake growth of Direct Selling companies.
