Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 工程管理碩士在職專班 === 102 === Most of traditional small and medium enterprise set up the process conditions/parameters based on their previous manufacturing experience or production condition. For example: the products must satisfy consumer’s requirement; the cost must be accepted within the certain range which has been considered by both consumer and enterprise. Those examples show above could be the best conditions; however, due to the variation manufacturing process; equipment depreciation; milling cutter depletion and cost are not considered before; therefore, the current process conditions/ parameters might not be the most appropriate for the company. In order to solve the issue above, the research material of this study takes SAS 440A stainless steel and CNC milling process as the example. This study adopts the DOE and RSM methodology, uses the response variables: machining timing; replacing milling cutter’s timing and etc. as the limitation of this study, which could reach the requirement of process conditions within the limit scope. In fact, this study investigates the process parameters to become into be processing timing and replacing milling cutter’s timing; the most appropriate result of process parameters are based on limitation of two different features response variables. Finally, with the process timing and replacing milling cutter’s timing weights, this study comes out with the best process parameters which including: the ratio of process timing and replacing milling cutter’s timing are (7.5:2.5); (2.5:7.5); and (5.0:5.0) and other different ratios experiences. The restrict condition of optimization of this study is process costing; therefore, to have the appropriate process parameters not only need the size after process but also need to consider the cost of production. However, the consumption of milling cutters are necessary for the equipment process procedures, this study set up the optimization production procedure by estimating the consumption of the milling cutter which would affect the result of the production; it would increase the procedure variation and monitor and stabilize the quality control.
