The findings of this study are as follows: 1. Using mathematics writing can help students to make sense of multiplication concepts. 2. Using mathematics writing can more understand the solving process by students in multiplication and division lessones. (1) Mathematics writing obviously helps for those students of the high-score group and disadvantaged family middle- score group. (2) Mathematics writing helps for the student of the generally middle- score group. (3) Mathematics writing helps for the student of the low- score group in understanding the questions. 3.
