The characteristics of stability, rapid acceleration and deceleration are the key requirements for spindle motor to reduce operating time and improve mechanical processing quality. This thesis is focused on developing high speed induction motor drive. The indirect rotor field oriented control is used at constant torque area and flux control has been added to reduce the flux saturation effect of induction motor in high speed area. In addition, a slip calculation based on q-axis current command and an increasing the magnetizing current methods are proposed to shorten acceleration and deceleration time for spindle motor in high speed and field weakening region, respectively. In order to improve the control accuracy of spindle motor in high speed field-weakening region, the rated slip estimation method is analyzed and implemented in the proposed motor drive to measure the rotor time constant automatically. Finally, the proposed control methodologies are implemented in a MCU (Renesas RX62T)-based motor drive. The tested items, including no-load acceleration/deceleration and rated-load disturbance, are carried out and tested on a 5.5 kW/12000 rpm induction motor driven by the motor drives to verify the effectiveness of the proposed methods. 黃明熙 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 78 zh-TW
