It also verifies if self-efficacy acts as a mediate role between leadership empowerment and service satisfaction, and commensurately between leadership empowerment and task performance. The study also analyzes how gender mainstreaming plays a role in adjustment among leadership empowerment, self-efficacy, service satisfaction, and task performance. The hypothesis is from a paired comparison questionnaire given to 169 groups of school staff administrators and teachers in the Hsinchu City and Hsinchu County public elementary schools.The result shows that leadership empowerment is positively related to self-efficacy, but there is no mediate effects of self-efficacy on leadership empowerment and service satisfaction. Whereas, the mediation effect of self-efficacy on the linkage of leadership empowerment on task performance is not supported, nor is the gender mainstreaming leadership empowerment, self-efficacy, and task performance for regulation effect.
