Questionnaires were distributed to 800 employees and 512 valid questionnaires were recovered. Confirmatory factor analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were employed to test the hypotheses. Results transformational leadership has a positive influence on employee lifelong learning, and that learning orientation plays a mediating role in this relationship. Transactional leadership also appears to positively influence on employee lifelong learning, with prove orientation having a mediating effect on this relationship. Recommendations for organizational management as well as future research are provided.
