碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 財務金融學系碩士在職專班 === 103 === While Taiwan’s Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) have allowed six property insurance companies to run online businesses, the progress of such businesses are much less successfully and effectively than that in banks. The reasons are mainly related to the existence of the gap between regulations and practical context in online businesses. We fully exploit the gap by an in-depth interview toward executive director of online business. The context of interview are dedicated by the FSC’s online regulatory issues, thereby building up seven fields to perform our systematic analysis. These seven fields include operation, order, safety, underwriting, product, trust, and future discussions. In so doing, our contributions will point out these factors affecting online business and to some extent benefit property insurance companies to improve their online development.
