碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 土木工程學系所 === 103 === Abstract
Wood is an organic material, and is easily influenced by the environmental factors, and causing the wood to rot, wrap, the connecting materials to rust and loosen, and displacement and collapsing of the structure. The Nantou Forest District Office of the Forestry Bureau has implemented and completed the Wooden Structure Governance Engineering Project in 2009 and 2010, and within a mere few years the aforementioned issues have occurred. These issues are the key issues of whether or not wooden structures can be used to maintain the mountainous areas and in disaster prevention. Therefore, the study of the root cause of disintegration of wooden structures, their displacement and collapse, as well as their corresponding measures is an important issue that cannot wait.
Referring to Use Timber Construction to Deal With State-owned Forestry Treatment Project (final report in 2008) and Nantou Timber-Construction Treatment Projects Safety Inspection Work in 2013(final report in 2013) by Forest Service, this research studies safety, applicability and durability of timber construction in forestry treatment projects based on timber source, timber physical and chemical changes, type of timber construction and mechanics, and data of timber construction safety inspection in 2013. The research is for design reference in future.
Through tests, result shows higher humidity and more sufficient nutrition at area nearby ground surface that expose to air, presenting more issues of decay. Deterioration test shows timber intensity at the third year is a bit lower than the first two years and timber piles without anticorrosive treatment deteriorate more severely. However, according to integrate assessment and referring to materials of Japanese timber deterioration tests, it is generally concluded that timber''s average degree of damage still under its service life. Corrosion-proof grade of timbers used in this test is K3. If corrosion-proof equipment and relevant measures are available, it is suggested to use OD method and timbers with corrosion-proof grade up to K4, which has better durability.
