Summary:碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 終身學習與人力資源發展碩士學位學程碩士在職專班 === 103 === The primary purpose of this research aimed to discover the current situation of the Work Stress and Coping Strategies of Full-time Counseling Teachers in Junior high Schools and to compare the differentiation and correlated relationship among different backgrounds. This research takes the full-time counseling teachers in Taiwan as the study test subject and utilize questionnaire to conduct the research. The self-edited “Work Stress and Coping Strategies for Full-time Counseling Teachers” questionnaire consists of three parts which are “personal background information”, ”work stress level scale” and “coping strategy research scale”. This research distributed a total of 787 copies of official questionnaires. Out of the 787 copies questionnaires, 519 valid questionnaires were collected and the result of successfully collecting rate is 65.95%. Based on the result of the questionnaire, descriptive statistics, independent T -test, ANOVA, and PPMCC (Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient) etc. are utilized to conduct the data analysis. Based on the data analysis result, the research yields the following conclusions: 1.The work pressure that the full-time counseling teachers in junior high schools experienced was at pre-intemediate. 2.When the full-time counseling teachers in junior high school face work pressures, they usually used relatively more self-adjustment strategy but less to engage the support. 3.The work pressure of the full-time counseling teachers in junior high schools appeared to vary distinctively according to the different variables such as sex, education level, the years of total working experience, school sizes, specialized background and marital status. 4.The utilization of the strategy used to deal with work pressure for the full-time counseling teachers in junior high schools appeared to vary distinctively according to the variables such as the years of total working experience, school size, specialized background, employment status, and marital status. 5.The work pressure and the work stress coping strategies for the full-time counseling teachers in junior high schools had a distinctive negative correlation between them. In other words, it brings the research finding that the more utilization of the work stress coping strategies, the lower the work pressure was. Finally, the suggestions were made and provided to the education authorities, school faculties and the full-time counseling teachers.
