Different variables, public and private vocational schools, gender, grades, socioeconomic status, are concerned. This study investigates the differences, correlation and prediction of the cultivation of a single parent to vocational school students’ interpersonal relationship and emotional management. The current study adopts survey questionnaire and 700 voctional sstudents of single parenting as participants. There are 683 valid questionnaires with an effective rate 97.57%. The survey uses “Emotional Quotient Inventory: Youth Version(EQ-i:YV)” of Psychological Publishing Company. Descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation and simple regression analyses are used. The conclusions are as follows: The status quo of the cultivation of a single parent to vocational school students’ interpersonal relationship and emotional management is around the average level. Differences only show on the variable of public and private schools of the cultivation of a single parent to vocational school students’ interpersonal relationship but not on gender, grades and socioeconomic status. There are no significant differences on the variables of the cultivation of a single parent to vocational school students’ emotional management regarding public and private schools, gender, grades and socioeconomic status. It shows no significance between single-parenting vocational school students’ interpersonal relationship and emotional management. It indecates no prediction of single-parenting vocational school students’ interpersonal relationship on emotional management.
