By loading a capacitor between the radiator and ground of a patch antenna allows the patch antenna to operate at a frequency much lower than the original operating frequencies of the patch antenna capacitance of the loaded capacitor, one can virtually change the operating frequency of the patch antenna continuously. And for the loaded capacitor antenna, it is not reduction radiation efficiency. This characteristic has broadened the usefulness of traditional patch antenna, or can be used when one needs the operating frequency to be tunable in some large ranges. Stacked structure can operate at different frequencies on different layers. The characteristics of each layer can be bonded together. In this paper, we will discuss the design to achieve 4G LTE multiple bands requirement and circularly polarization design. First, we will study traditional triangular microstrip antenna. We will introduce the characteristics of capacitor-loaded technique to reduce frequency and bring up the concepts of stacked structure and circularly polarization design. By combining CP design and capacitor-loaded design into a stacked structure based on triangular microstrip antenna, we can accomplish the antennas operated at different bands and CP.
